A. Virginia Minnich, 90, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, in Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.

She was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Greencastle to the late Frank and Emma Florence Pittman Bitner.

She retired from the Waynesboro Knitting Mill and was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Minnich, who died in 1973.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice L. (and husband Ellis) Snare of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Jill Snare of Harrisburg, Allen Snare (and wife Tina) of Dillsburg and Terre J. Snare (and wife Brenda) of Hummelstown; four great-grandchildren, Dustin, Jarrett and Jenna Snare and Jaime Hobe (and husband Todd).

Graveside services will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, with the Rev. James M. Crawford of the Carlisle Wesleyan Church, officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt Holly Springs, PA 17065.
