Graveside services for Mrs. Buoy will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Oglesby Cemetery with Mr. Casey Parham of the First Christian Church in Dewey officiating. Funeral services and interment will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Buoy was born at Nowata, Oklahoma on March 14, 1935 the daughter of Arley and Margaret (Crouch) Miller. She grew up and received her education in the Oglesby area and graduated from Ramona High School. She had been employed at Murphy’s Steak House in Bartlesville and she was married to Jack Stillwell Buoy on November 10, 1978. They made their home at Oglesby and Mrs. Buoy was active as a homemaker. Mr. Buoy preceded her in death on March 21, 2001 and she moved to Dewey to make her home in 2002. She loved dogs and enjoyed cooking for her family.
Mrs. Buoy is survived by two daughters, Vicky Holland and husband Jim of Copan, Cathy Roecker and husband Dean of Dewey, six grandchildren, John Dick II and wife Melanie, Tony Holland, Shaunda Holland Stanley and husband Zac, Travis Roecker, Tyler Roecker and Mike Roecker and wife Trinidy, and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janey Miller.
