Death of Mrs. Sam Wise
Mrs. Susan Finney Wise, wife of Samuel Wise, a farmer, who resides two miles south of Shelbyville, died last Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd Eden, near Eminence. She became ill with heart trouble while visiting her daughter and her death was due to that ailment.
Mrs. Wise was eighty years old and is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Eden, Mrs. William Dawson and Mrs. M. Scruggs, all of Shelby County, and Mrs. Minnie Tomblesan, of Indianapolis, Ind., and four sons, John, James and Collie Wise, all of this county, and Elisha Wise of Frankfort.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bagdad Baptist Church Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, with interment in the cemetery at that place.
