Minnie Akers married Daniel Noah Agy. After their 3 children were born, Minnie got tuberculosis. Knowing that she would die from this disease, Daniel Noah Agy left her and their children and was never heard from again. Minnie was left to find homes for her children after her death, and had to take in boarders to support her children while she was sick. Sadly, she is buried in an unmarked grave, but in the most peaceful, beautiful place - on a bluff overlooking the Kentucky Lake, part of the Tennessee River, near the Big Sandy-Danville ferry.
