Stella Smiley Wilson passed away on November 1, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 16, 1939, In Waynesville, NC to the late Jason and Gladys Smiley. She was a resident of Orange Park, FL for the past 45 years. She had a successful career in the real estate and financial fields. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur J. Wilson Sr.; sons Arthur (Sarah) Wilson Jr., Greg (Sherri) Wilson, and Scott Wilson; grandsons Chip Wilson, Jason Wilson, John Wilson, and Aaron Wilson, all of Orange Park, FL; brothers Jason (Norma) Smiley, Robert (Sonya) Smiley, Sammy Smiley; sisters Ida Burris, Ellie Smiley, Etta Capps; sister-in-law Aiko Wilson of Orange Park, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Coastal Health Services Inc. and Haven Hospice of Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Haven Hospice. Viewing for Mrs. Stella Wilson will be Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 5:00pm.- 8:00pm. The service will held Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 10:30am. in the chapel of Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
