THE PARIS NEWS, 2 Jan 1991. ‘Walker H. Bramlett, 81, 1020-17th SE, died Tuesday, 1 Jan 1991, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Thursday, 3 Jan, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. E. Ross Richardson officiating. Mr. Bramlett was born 17 Nov 1909, in Lamar County, a son of Enoch W. and Sarah Ellen Sewell Bramlett. He married Thelma Hutchings on 15 Aug 1931, in Biardstown. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a farmer until 1952 when he began driving a truck for Humble Oil Co., working there for 20 years. He later worked for Grand Oxygen for 10 years. Surviving are his wife; one son, Dr. Billy W. Bramlett of Huntsville; one grandson, William Walker Bramlett; one granddaughter, Christina Bramlett of Houston; one brother, Enoch J. Bramlett of Paris; and a sister, Alma Baer of New Mexico.
