Mrs. Jeffres
Dies at 68

Mrs. Archie (Grace) Jeffres, 68, of 1836 South Jackson, died Sunday evening at Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born in Horace, Neb., Nov. 18, 1896, and was reared and educated there. She married Archie Jeffres at Greeley, Neb., in 1915.

She and her husband moved to Wyoming in 1918 near Douglas, where they homesteaded. Her husband was employed with Continental Oil Co. at the Big Muddy field for 38 years. They moved to Casper after his retirement in 1956(sic).

Mrs, Jeffres was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. AnthonyÌs Catholic Church and was a member of that church.

She is survived by her husband, of the family home; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Armstrong, of Kimball, Neb.; Mrs. Evelyn Rinker and Elenor Jeffres, both of Casper; three sons, Lyle, of Moorcraft; Jack and Ken, both of Casper; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Rosary services for Mrs. Jeffres will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bustard Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by Father Colm Wood, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. AnthonyÌs Catholic Church. Interment will be in the family plot at Natrona Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
