Archie Jeffres
Dies Sunday
Archie E. Jeffres, 76, of 1836 South Jackson, died Sunday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for some time, but hospitalized only briefly.
Jeffres was born Feb. 5, 1892, in Horace, Neb. He married in Greeley, Neb., on Nov. 19, 1915, and in 1918, he and his wife Grace, came to Wyoming and homesteaded near Douglas.
In 1921, Jeffres went to work for the Continental Oil Co., in the Big Muddy Field. He retired in 1957(sic), and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffres came to Casper to live.
She died in December, 1964.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Maxine Armstrong, of Kimball, Neb., Lyle Jeffres of Moorcroft, Jack, Kenneth and Elenor Jeffres and Mrs. Evelyn Rinker of Casper.
There are 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be held at the Bustard Funeral Home on Monday at 8 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated at St. AnthonyÌs Catholic church on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be in Natrona Memorial Gardens. Either flowers or contributions to the Natrona County Blue Envelope Fund for Cancer will be equally appreciated.
