Ms. Alene Simmons Jordan, age 91, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020, at her home.

Ms. Jordan is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry Jordan & Elizabeth, Ronnie Jordan & Diane, and Gerald Jordan & Polly; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren; and good friend and Sister-in-Christ, Myrtle Cotton along with many others friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Astor C. Jordan and Lehman Grimes; son, Donnie Ray Jordan; and parents, Lue Vennia Carroll Simmons & Ellis Simmons.

Funeral services for Ms. Alene Jordan will be held at 1 pm Thursday, October 22, 2020, from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Blue Springs Cemetery. Randy Hartley and Tommy DuBose will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family will be receiving friends at the Jordan home, 309 S. Jackson St., Opp, Alabama 36467.

The family request that all in attendance wear a mask and practice social distance regulations set forth by Governor Ivey and Alabama Public Health.
