Mrs. Elise E. Murphey, 78, of 1200 Azalea Drive, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Sunday, November 19, 1989, in Millen, Georgia. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, North Augusta, with Dr. Theodore H. Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta. Pallbearers will be Neal Eubanks, George Eubanks, Mike Franklin, Jet Toney, Clarence Bouknight and John Jones. Mrs. Murphey, a native of Augusta, had spent most of her life in North Augusta and had retired as a secretary from Seminole Mills. She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter, Faye B. Ergle, North Augusta; a stepson, Cmdr. Paul W. Murphey, Navy; a stepdaughter, Switzer Toney, Augusta; a sister, Betty Hitt, Augusta; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home.
