DALSTON: On Wednesday, April 26th, a quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Williams when their eldest daughter, Olivia, was united in matrimony to Howard, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bertram.

BERTRAM, Howard -- Word was received here of the death, after three weeks' illness, in the Western Hospital, Toronto, of Howard Bertram, on Wednesday October 4, 1939. Mr. Bertram was born at Clowes, a son of the late Mr and Mrs Benjamin Bertram and had lived almost all his life in Simcoe County. He is survived by his widow formerly Olivia Williams, Dalston: six sons, Reginald, of Elmvale, Ted, of Toronto; Ross, Leslie, Irwin and Ewart, Dalston; two daughters, Gertrude and Mrs Roy Fraser (Hazel), Windsor; also one sister, Mrs A. Lamb, Toronto. Rev. W. J. Stewart conducted the funeral service in the United Church and interment was made in Dalston Cemetery. The pallbearers were his six sons. Many beautiful floral tributes expressed the sincere sympathy extended to the bereaved family.
