She graduated from Corning High School in 1928. She worked for the State of Kansas at the Kansas Employment Security Division for over 26 years, retiring in 1976.
She married Paul A. Wells in August of 1938. He passed away May of 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Gene Wells and his wife Nina of Soldier and Bob Wells and his wife Susie of Topeka along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state from noon 9:00 p.m. Monday with visitation from 7:00 8:30 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.
