Robert L. "Bob" Ryer RYER, 63, passed away peacefully at Middlesex Hospital, on Monday, (April 16, 2007).
Robert was born November 3, 1943. He lived in Cromwell and Middletown most of his life.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and convertible muscle cars.
In his younger days, he loved to play baseball and was an avid golfer, but his favorite activity was watching ball games and his sons.
Robert is survived by three sons, Curtis Ryer and his wife Christine of Durham, Clayton Ryer and his wife Melissa of Middlefield, and Robert L. Ryer, Jr., of Middletown;
six grandchildren, Chloe, Jakob, Ty, Gehrig, Skye, and Zackery; one brother, Walter Ryer of Middletown, one sister Beverly Hewlett of South Daytona, FL., and many close friends. He is predeceased by his brother, George Ryer.
A private memorial will be held.
