Ellen Louise Amidon passed away April 25, 2010 in Pueblo. She was born March 16 1931 in Anthony, Kan., and had been a resident of Denver for 30 years before coming to Pueblo 15 years ago. Ellen and Al owned a family business which started in Pueblo and later moved to Commerce City. For many years, Ellen worked at SRDA where she loved her job and made many friends. She was a very loving, caring and giving person. She enjoyed all of her family parties and loved going to Cripple Creek every chance she could with her good friend Maggie and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Tula Biby; her husband Albert B. Amidon Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters. Her survivors include daughter, Peggy Nuetzmann; grandsons, Jason Amidon, Michael Amidon; granddaughter Ellen Ashley Nuetzmann; step-daughters Suzanne and Cindy; sister, Susan (Paul) Urenda; brother Don Biby; as well as numerous Nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service , 1p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, in the Davis Memorial Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ellen may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
