Born Feb. 1, 1900, in Caldwell County, Mo., Mrs. Catron, a homemaker, was a member of Breckenridge American Auxiliary and of OATS, where she was a contact person for 20 years. On July 22, 1922, she married Acie A. Catron. He died in 1953.
Mrs. Catron was also preceded in death by five children; her parents, William E. and Lurena Ryburn; two brothers and a sister. Survivors include one son, Richard Catron of Kansas City; one daughter, Judy Guminger of Kansas City; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2001, at the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge." St Joseph News-Press, January 27, 2001
