Fatal Railroad Accident
Mr. Nathan Davis of this village, a brakeman on the Stonington Railroad, was instantly killed on Friday evening last. His remains were brought to this village and interred in the Bernon Cemetery on Sunday. Mr. Davis was aged about 32 years - an industrious and highly respectable man - and leaves a widow and two children.

If the Railroad Corporation should open its heart and give the widow and orphans a few hundred dollars, we don't think it would suffer much in public estimation.
