Services for John F. Amig, 88, of 933 Paul Circle, Upper Allen Township, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg.

He died Sunday, Jan. 8, 1995, in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.

Born March 7, 1906, in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Maxwell and Agnes Strauwser Amig.

He was retired from H.B. McClure Co., Harrisburg.

He was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church in Steelton.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Amig; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Amig, with whom he lived; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

The Rev. Lloyd E. Beamesderfer will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hampden Township.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Allen Township EMS, 104 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg 17055.
