MANY RELATIVES MOURN THE DEATH OF MRS. S.A. TISH
Funeral services were held in Grinnell Monday afternoon for Mrs. Margaret Frances Tish, widow of S.A. Tish, who died on July 3 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.C. Howell, in Des Moines, after a long illness.
Mrs. Tish, daughter of Milo and Susannah Robertson Morgan, was born on Feb. 7, 1867, in Deep River. On July 24, 1890, she was united in marriage with S.A. Tish and lived happily with him until his death on April 30, 1928. She accepted Christ early in 1891 and lived a consistent Christian life.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Sylva A. Foster of Grinnell, Mrs. Vella Idle of Keokuk, Mrs. Cressie Staehli and Mrs. Lela Murphy of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Hazel Howell of Des Moines, one son, Reuel E. Tish of Grinnell, 11 grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Buskirk of Elmwood, Neb., Mrs. Belle Buskirk of Manley, Neb., and Mrs. Minnie Reavis of Grinnell, and two brothers, Charles Morgan of Pleasantville, and Horace Morgan of Des Moines.
