John Minnich Leidich was my grandfather and provided the start of my genealogy records and interest.
He was born November 1905 in Manheim, Pennsylvania, the son of Otis Orville Leidich and Fannie Bear Minnich. He began teaching at Millcreek Township School in 1928 and was supervising principal at the school from 1943 to 1954.
He was assistant administrator of Eastern Lebanon County Schools until his retirement in 1971. He was a graduate of Gettysburg College and Penn State.
He was a member of Millcreek Lutheran Church and taught the adult Sunday School class for more than 50 years.
