What a pleasant surprise to finally know when Dr. James Ennis Parramore died and is buried. His first wife was Carrie Akard. They were married 25 Oct 1903 in Delta County, Texas. The couple divorced sometime between 1915-1922. The family saved Dr. Parramore's anniversary note written on a prescription paper to Carrie circa 1915. Carrie Akard remarried (2) James Franklin Springs in 1922 (3) James R. Thompson bef. 1930. Carrie, my grand aunt died in 1936, so family stories are few.
I do have a copy of a military photograph of Dr. J.E. Parramore in the U.S. Army Medical Corp, served as First Lieutenant in Colonel Calvary in the Big Bend District of Texas that I will add to Find-A-Grave. Also, a photo of Dr. Parramore with a possible business associate, name unknown.
I do recall my cousin saying the family called him "A Dandy." Not sure exactly what they meant.
Thank you for contacting me.
Dee Akard Welborn
