PITTS — Eleanor Cornett, 71, of Pitts passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.
Rev. Danny Allen will officiate, and interment will be in Morningside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Henderson, Josh Henderson, Scott Day, John Day and Robert Tajeda.
The family will visit with friends today, April 13, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Cornett was born in 1938. She had lived in Pitts for the past 15 years, having moved there from Hilton Head, SC. She was the daughter of the late Julian Hiram Lovett and Thelma Moderete Williams Lovett.
She was a bookkeeper with Floral Hills Cemetery and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Stone Mountain.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Donnie Rice and a grandson, Christopher Rice.
Surviving her are her husband, Larry Cornett of Pitts; a son, Richard Rice of Lawrenceville; a stepson, Rick Cornett of Pitts; two daughters, Cathy Henderson of Pitts and Sherri Bright of Stone Mountain; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
