Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1997, at the Canby Assembly of God Church for Glenn A. Curtis. He died Oct. 9, at a Canby care center at the age of 88.

A retired Foursquare pastor, he was born Oct. 29, 1908, in Smith Center, Kan. He served churches in The Dalles, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona. He had lived in Canby for 25 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Norma Cristanelli of San Pedro, Calif., Yvonne Younger of Hubbard and Beverly Harlan of Canby; son, Alan of Lancaster, Calif.; brother the Rev. Gary of Van Nuys, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. His wife died July 20, 1996.

Committal Service and burial was at Rock Creek Cemetery near Canby. Contributions may be made to the Canby Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Norma Cristanelli of San Pedro, Calif., Yvonne Younger of Hubbard and Beverly Harlan of Canby; son, Alan of Lancaster, Calif.; brother, the Rev. Gary of Van Nuys, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Internment will be in Rock Creek Cemetery in Canby. The family suggests remembrances to the church. Arrangements are by Canby Funeral Chapel.
