CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- Mary Jane Amacker, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in Charlotte.

Mrs. Amacker was a retired secretary for Pearl River Junior College and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Amacker.

Survivors include four sons, Charles Amacker, Tommy Amacker, Mike Amacker and Bill Amacker; a daughter, Becky DeGeorge; a sister, Frances Watson; a brother, Dub Watson; and four grandchildren.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at White Funeral Home Chapel in Poplarville with interment in the Amacker Family Cemetery in Whitesand.
