Abram D. (Abe) Clough, 75, 123 Fithian Ave., Paris, husband of Martha Myers Clough, died Mon., Oct 5 at Bourbon General Hospital. A native of Bourbon Co., he was the son of the late James R. and Susie Smith Clough, Sr. A member of the First United Methodist Church, he was a retired employee of the City of Paris, having served for 45 years and was the superindent for the Light Dept. at his retirement. He was a 25 year member of the Paris Lodge #2, F&AM and a 50 year member of the Past Noble Grand of Bourbon Lodge #23 I.O.O.F. Survivors in addition to his wife, include three sons, Lawrence Wayne McFarland, Tulsa, OK; Jerry Allen McFarland, Pontotoc, MS and Eddie Clay McFarland, Mt. Sterling; four brothers, Earl Clough, Albert Clough, J.R. Clough, Jr., and Ora Clough, all of Paris; one sister, Mrs. William B. Tobin, Jr., Cynthiana; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Thurs. at Lusk funeral Home, Paris by the Rev. Eugene Barbour. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
