Ellen Blanche Buckner Streadwick, 94, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Elderberry Health Care Center.
A native of Madison County, she lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She retired from Southern Bell as a telephone operator. Mrs. Streadwick was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late John and Sue Blazer Buckner and the widow of Cecil Streadwick.
Surviving are her brother, Larry Buckner of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating.
