Mary Zemanek
Mary Ann Zemanek, 83, Belt resident for most of her life, died Wednesday afternoon at a local convalescent home where she had been a patient for the past four years.
Born Oct. 3, 1888, at Streator, Ill., she came to Belt with her parents when she was six years old. She married Paul Zemanek there in 1906. The couple lived in Belt and he was employed in the coal mines. He died in 1951.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Foote, Great Falls; a son, Albert D., Salt Lake City; a sister, Emma Joquemort, Helena; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
