Phillip LeVeille Dies at Hospital
Phillip LeVeille, 75, Montana resident 59 years and one of the first residents of Belt, died at a local hospital Wednesday after a brief illness.
LeVeille came to this section in 1891 from Montreal and first lived at Neihart. He moved to Belt when the town was first established and where he was employed by the Anaconda Copper Mining Co. He later operated a general merchandise store several years. LeVeille was born July 13, 1873, in Montreal.
He is survived by his widow, Marie, of Belt; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Robinson, Honolulu, and Mrs. John Bodrero, Morro Bay, Calif.; and a brother, George LeVeille, Inglewood, Calif.
