Rita C. DiMasi, 75, of Quaker Lane, Warwick, died Friday at Kent County Memorial Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Frank S. DiMasi. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Burns) Ritchie. she lived in West Warwick all of her life. She was a registered nurse, and had graduated from the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Providence in 1945. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital and for the late Dr. Giro Scotti for many years. She had owned and operated the DiMasi Pharmacy in West Warwick with her husband. She was a member of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She was a past regent of Leona Circle, and a member of the the Nina Circle, both of the Daughters of Isabella. She leaves a son, Frank S. DiMasi, and three daughters, Virgina R. DiMasi, Jeane Marie DiMasi, and Marilyn DiMasi Blais, all of West Warwick, a brother Thomas Ritchie, and a sister Dorothy Cummings, both of Warwick, and eight grandchildren and a great grandson. She was the sister of the late Raymond Ritchie. Her funeral was held from from the Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry on Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church West Warwick. Burial followed in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
