Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 with loved ones by her side. She resided at 1997 South Wasatch Drive (2700 East) in the Foothill neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.

Stella was born July 23, 1924 to immigrant parents Zahariaz and Matina Anagnostakis in Bingham, Utah.

She graduated from Bingham High School in May 1943. During her young adult years she worked at The Paris Company and Pikes Manufacturing Company. She and Plato eloped to Clark County, Nevada, where they married on February 11, 1947.

Stella enjoyed the arts, music, traveling, and especially shared these interests with Plato and daughter Estelle. She often spoke of how much she enjoyed her travels to New York, San Francisco, and St. Thomas with Estelle. Their travels were full of new adventure and fond memories.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Plato, beloved daughter, Estelle, and her beloved brother, George (Aggie).

Stella was a devoted mother and wife who dearly loved Plato, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She gave unselfishly of herself to her family in support of their happiness and well being.

Stella is survived by her children Annette, George (Karen), Greg, and Cynthia (Mike) Ahlstrom, her grandchildren Nicholas (Chasity) and Zachary (Soula Litsas, fiancé), great-grandchildren Corbin and Connor, and sister Helen (Dale) Kauffman.

Her family loves her dearly and she will always be in our thoughts and prayers. She will be greatly missed.
