Nellie Eunice Goode, 87, of Morristown died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

Born Jan. 1, 1923, in Adair County, Ky., she was the daughter of Benjamin C. and Maude M. (Price) Taylor.

She married James "Clarence" Goode on Nov. 11, 1939, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1996.

Survivors include her son, Terry (wife, Robbin) Goode of Fountaintown; daughters, Leetta (husband, William) Hunter of New Palestine, Margie (husband, Kim) Clark of Morristown and Vickie (husband, Greg) Ramsey of Charlottesville; sisters, Reable Scott of Alma, Ark., and Opal Thompson of Liberty, Ky.; grandchildren, Heather Fisher, Brian Hunter, Cheryl White, Jeff Clark, Bob Clark and Danny Ramsey; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, Nelson Goode; one brother; four sisters; and one great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Goode moved to the Morristown area in 1962 from Rush County.

She was a homemaker and baby-sat in Morristown.

Mrs. Goode was a member of Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church, Barnetts Creek, Ky.

She loved gardening, cooking and sewing and enjoyed being with her family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Gwen Pew and the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
