PIONEER DAUGHTER SUCCUMBS AT 74

Funeral services for Jennie R. Goodrich, late of McMinnville, were held today, Thursday, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Macy and Son. Mrs. Goodrich, a resident of 745 East 8th street, passed away June 27 at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 18 days.

Born on a donation land claim in Roseburg, October 9, 1875, she was the daughter of pioneer parents who crossed the plains. She was a resident of Yamhill until 1927 when she moved to McMinnville. Her husband, Alva Curtis Goodrich, preceded her in death in 1914.

Survivors are two sons, George R., Tillamook, and Alva C., Bend; daughters, Miss Betty Goodrich, Eugene, and Mrs. Alice Withycombe, McMinnville; three brothers, J.M. Rose, Grants Pass, Byron Rose, Klamath Falls, and Ed Rose, Turner; two sisters, Mrs. George M. Adams and Mrs. Irv Thompson, Roseburg. Seven Grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive.

Interment was at the Carlton-Yamhill cemetery.
