RAYMOND JUNIOR GANN was born August 12, 1938 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the son of the late Raymond Junior Gann, Sr. and Lula Pearl (Weaver) Gann. He was raised and received his education in the Hillsboro community.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Allene Finch on December 5, 1999. They celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary this past December. Following their marriage they had made their home in the Forest Grove community, where he had resided since.
Junior Ray had worked for the Birds Eye Cannery and later for Gray & Company Food Processing Company as a Hyster Equipment Operator for several years, until he retired at the age of fifty-five years old.
Among his special interests he was an avid hunter and he enjoyed crabbing in Seaside, Oregon.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, and his two sons, Michael Cole and Jason Cole.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy a. Gann, of Tacoma, Washington; and her children, Sandra(Joe); and William, all of Washington; his eight children and their spouses, Debbie and Eddie, of Washington; Eddie Finley, of Beaverton, Oregon; Kenny and Linda Gann, of Beaverton, Oregon; Becky and David Herbert, of Beaverton, Oregon; Tammy Gann of Hillsboro, Oregon; Jamie and Shannon Cole, of Banks, Oregon; Sarah Gann, of Corvallis, Oregon; and Mary Gann of St. Helens; and his five sisters, Pearl Crisman of Tigard, Oregon; Pauline Miller, of Boring, Oregon; Shirley Johnson, of North Plains, Oregon; Rosie Elsey, of Rockaway, Oregon; and Louise Krouse, of Long Beach, Washington.
Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
