WYNN JOHN D. "DOUG" JR., 81, a retired Zone Truck SalesEngineer with General Motors Division, died Monday, January 22, 2001 at his home. Funeral: 11 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2001, Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Burial: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, Blessing Funeral Home. Memorials: American Cancer Soicietyor American Lung Association. Doug Wynn was born May 31, 1919, in Maypearl, Texas the son of John D. and Mazie Akers Wynn, Sr. and married Ina Mae Casstevens, August 14, 1942 in San Diego, California. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a veteran employee of General Motors for 34 years. Upon retirement in 1980, he continued his truck consulting service with numerous Chevrolet dealers. An avid golfer and Texas Rangers Baseball fan, Doug always displayed such hardwork and passion in the family cattle business. He was a long and devoted husband, Dad and PaPa. He is proceded in death by his parents and brothers: James W. Wynn and Darrell A. Wynn. Special thanks and appreciation to the caring Hospice Staff of Vitas for their excellent care. Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Ina Mae Casstevens Wynn of Arlington; daughter, Shari A. and husband, Michael J. McWilliams of Mansfield, only grandchild, Marian Wynn McWillilams, sister, Marcia Ann Kellogg of Austin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
