BRECKENRIDGE -- Doris E. Ball, 79, died Wednesday at her home.
Family services were Saturday in Breckenridge Cemetery with Carl Everett officiating, directed by Girdner Funeral Home of Abilene.
Mrs. Ball was born in California and was a homemaker. She moved to Breckenridge in 1948. She was a Baptist and was the widow of John Thomas Ball Jr., whom she married in 1939 in Yuma, Ariz.
Survivors include one daughter, Diann Ball Howard of Breckenridge; one son, John T. Ball IV of Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
