Dorothy Brown Painter,56,of 1352 Calf Mountain Road,Waynesboro,died Sunday,Sept,10,2000 at Augusta Medical Center,Fishersville.

She was born May 12,1944,in Waynesboro,daughter of the late Dan G.Frazier and Anna Mabel Fisher Frazier.

She was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband,Forrest J. Brown, a son Forrest J.Brown Jr.,two brothers,Mitch and Richard Frazier;one sister,Lucille Kidd,and one grandson, Billy Daniel Jr.

Survivors include her husband,Charles E.Painter,of Waynesboro,three daughters,Karen Gail Bailey of Waynesboro,Sharon Sue Wright of Florida and Brenda Lee Brown of Crimora,seven stepchildren,Tonya,Tony,Jeff and Charles Painter Jr.,all of Pennsylvania,Shelia Fitzgerald and Charles Painter of Waynesboro, and Keith William Brown of Scottsville,two brothers,Luther Buddy Frazier and Homer Frazier,both of Waynesboro,a number of nieces,nephews and other relatives.

She also leaves behind a special friend,Anita Roadcap.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11a.m. Tuesday at the Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Merle Fisher.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation the funeral home.
