John Mack Fisher LEXINGTON Ky,John Mack Fisher passed away May 14,2004,at his residence of 1101 McClain Drive.
He had a short-term battle with cancer.He was born Aug.8 ,1946 the son of the late Clinton R.Fisher and Delma R.Fisher.
He was a avid gardener,traveler and loved his pets,Emma,Amanda and Mackerel.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and received his associate's degree from Lees's Junior College in Jackson,Ky.He also attended Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond,Ky.
He was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church.He loved his church family and enjoyed singing for the congregation.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday(May 22,2004) in the Chapel of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church by the Rev.Merle Fisher.
A memorial service will also be held in Kentucky at a later date.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Glen Kirk.Memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund at Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church,767 Calf Mountain Road,Waynesboro,Va 22980 or to the Hospice of the Bluegrass,2312 Alexandria Pike,Lexington Ky,40504.Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro is handling the arrangements.
