AYCOCK, Frances W. Mrs. Frances (Frankie) Westmoreland Aycock, age 89, of Jonesboro, passed away April 22, 2010. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, and a former member of Gordon Street Baptist. Frankie worked as a bookkeeper for Yancy Bros. Caterpillar Company. Her hobbies were playing bridge and traveling, and she was known and loved for her sense of humor and positive attitude. She was the beloved wife of Carl J. Aycock. Frankie is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Art Meares of CA; son and daughter-in-law James and Indy Aycock of Hampton; four granddaughters Carmen Kieley, Sarah Banchieri, Cherie Aycock, and Lucy Aycock, and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 2:00 til 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Dawson Cemetery in Marietta, GA. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Jonesboro, the Saints Alive program, PO Box 773, Jonesboro, GA 30237.
