Sarah Ellen Harrel Nester, 80, widow of Lafayette Jackson Nester, died yesterday at Radford Community Hospital.
She was a resident of Radford.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Kate Farmer Elbert, W. Va., Mrs. Evelyn Sherman, Washington, D. C, Mrs. Christine Armentrout, Radford; five sons, Virgil Nester, Parrott, Mitchell Nester, Belspring, Alfred Nester, Hyattsville, Md., Jesse Nester, Vandalia, III, John Nester, Arlington; a brother J Jack Harrel, Arlington.
Funeral services will be tomorrow at l a.m. at Belspring Methodist Church with burial in the Brown Cemetery. The Rev. Daryl Williams will officiate. The body will be taken Tuesday afternoon to the residence at 1727 Second Street, Radford. DeVilblss Funeral; Home is in charge.
