C.W Calvin Taken In Death
Following a long illness, Chester W. Calvin died last night in Providence hospital, Beaver Falls.
For some time, operator of the Lincoln hotel here, he was widely known in this area.
Among the bereaved are three sisters in this city- Anna and Jean Calvin, and Mrs. Martha Todd and a brother E.Y Calvin an attorney at Beaver Falls.
On May 14, 1958 reads;
Rites Thursday at 1:30 for C.W. Calvin
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday at the Lutton Funeral home in Beaver Falls for Chester W. Calvin, aged 76 of 918 11th street, Beaver Falls who died Monday night at the Providence hospital.
He was born in Middleton Twp. on Aug. 28, 1881.For a number of years he operated a hotel in this city and later the Grand Hotel in Beaver Falls.
He was a former Mayor and councilman at Beaver Falls and was a member of the Presbyterian church in that city.
Burial will take place in the mausoleum in Glenview cemetery here
