Fanny E. Allison

Fanny E. Allison, 78, formerly of 3 N. Crawford St., Millersburg, died Friday, Feb. 26, at Altercare Nursing Home, after an extended illness. Services were held Sunday, Feb. 28, at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, with the Rev. Steve Holbrook officiating. Burial was a t Nashville Cemetery, She was born in 1909 in Holmes County to Clyde E. and Mary Livingston Carpenter and married James D. Allison on June 29, 1932, He died in February, 1965. She was employed by Seaman Inc. in Millersburg and Diamonite in Shreve. She was a member of the Nashville Church of Christ. Surviving are two children, Dan A. of Nashville and Mrs. Marcus (Frances) Tipton of Millersburg; five grandchildren; one step granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
