Mrs. Vivian N. Stewart. 86. A former Newport resident, died at 6:55 a.m. today at Vermillion County Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Parke county in 1892.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louise Bush of Route 1, Clinton; Mrs.Helen Hubble of Martinsville,Ill and Mrs. Maxine Russell of Westminister. Calif.: a son.Harry Stewart of Ladoga, Ind.;
nine grandchildren. 16 greatgrandchildren.and one greatgreat-grandchild;a sister. Mrs.Blanche Walworth of Newport.and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Frist Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Richardson officiating.
Burialwill be in Thomas Cemetery at Newport.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
