Wichita -- August Brungardt, 83, died Thursday, Dec. 30, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born July 15, 1899 at Victoria, the son of Andrew and Monica Brungardt.

He married Agnes Unrein in 1938; they moved to Wichita from Victoria in 1942.

He was a retired Boeing Company employee.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two brothers, Ambrose, Victoria, and Father Valerian, Franciscan O.F.M., Hays; two sisters, Mary Goetz, Willowdale, and Imerintia Duffy, Burma Park, Calif.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the All Saints Catholic Church.
