Born Eileen Newell on Nov. 5, 1928, in Ann Arbor to Lillian (Lovell) Newell; Married to the late George for 43 years. Dear mother of Janice Pohl Lovell, Jim Rowland, and Teri Dresco. Grandmother of Melanie Pohl, Jonathan Pohl, James Rowland, Jack Hull, Ann Marie Esler, Richard Graham, Toni Lynn Cermak, Candace Ristagno, and Chad Kolos; also survived by several great-grandchildren. Dear friend of Margaret Montross.
Predeceased by children Mike (Karen) Kolos and Cynthia Hull, and granddaughter Jenni Rowland.
A graduate of Lake Orion High School, Eileen worked for General Motors, owned the snack bar at North Hill Lanes, and was a long-time employee of D&C Five and Dime in downtown Rochester. She always had a lap available for one of the many family cats that let her sit on their couch.
