Charles B Hinderliter, 67, of West Seneca, New York died Tuesday, February 20, 1979 in MIllard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, New York.

Born February 2, 1912 in Butler, he was the son of Charles and Margaret (Boyles) Hinderliter. He was married August 28, 1931 to the former Esther Mae Fike.

A retired shipper for Snyder Tank Company, he was a member of the Hamburg Nazarene Church.

Surviving are: three sons, Charles Hinderliter of Buffalo, Delbert Hinderliter of West Seneca, New York and Kenneth Hinderliter of Lackawanda, New York; two daughters, Mrs Willia (Donna) Strawder and Mrs Thomas (Bridgett) Maitland, both of Buffalo, New York; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Sara Clontz of Hamburg, New York; and five brothers, Dennis Hinderliter of North Freedom, Arthur Hinderliter of Fairmount City, Rev. Fred Hinderliter of Johnstown, New York; Leo Hinderliter of Hawthorn and Russell Hinderliter of New Bethlehem.

Mr Hinderliter was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence,
Robert, James, Blake and Harry.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 pm in the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, with Rev Fred Hinderliter and Rev Thomas Maitland officiating.

Interment was in the Coolspring Cemetery.
