Mrs Daisy Dixon, 54. formerly of Marlington, died 7 pm Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Katherine Malcom, of Springdale, after a 16 month illness. She was born at Salem, April 7, 1917, a daughter of the late Sherman L Bragg and Mintie K Bragg. She was a nurse and member of the Jehovah Witness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Dunbrack of Marlington and Mrs. Malcom of Springdale; a son, Bernard Dixon of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Waselchalk of Richwood, Mrs. June Cooper of Winfred and Mrs. Faye Walker of Salem Center, Ohio and three gransons.
Funeral Services will bee held at 2 pm Friday at the Van Reenen Funeral Home at Cemetery at Marlington. McClung officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery at Marlington. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
