FRED L. BLACK -- Fred L. Black, 81, formerly of Rickreall, Oregon, died in a Longview, Wahington hospital on Feb. 7th 1983. He was born on Nov. 18, 1902 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He lived in Westport the past seven years. He had been a laborer in the mink and lumber industries. He also raised rabbits while living in Rickreall.

Funeral services were held Feb. 9th at the Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary in Clatskanie with Rev. Sulo Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Murray Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to the Oregon Heart Fund or the Diabetes Foundation.
