Mary A. Wilhite married Cyrus Young McDonald on 4 July 1886 at Itasca, Texas. She preceded him in death.

Services for Uncle Cy McDonald, 79, were held at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dallas P. Lee, the pastor. Mr. McDonald lived in Young County for several years before moving to Graham in 1922. He was employed by the City Police force for five years and for several years for the John E. Morrison Company. He converted and joined the Baptist Church in early life. He regularly attended services.

Survived by one son - G.F. McDonald; one daughter - Mrs. J.H. Corley; three grandchildren - Mrs. A.R. Mancille, Mrs. Pat Clifford, Pearl Faye Corley; three great-grandchildren.
