Mrs. Lela McKamey, 77, Seminole, Fla., died Sunday evening in St. Vincent's hospital at Indianapolis.
While a resident of Cloverdale, Mrs. McKamey, and her husband, Eugene (Tess) McKamey, owned and operated a grocery store.
Mr. McKamey preceded her in death April 23, 1962.
Born in Tippecanoe County May 17, 1900, Mrs. McKamey was the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Martin.
The deceased was a member of the First Christian Church in Lafayette.
Survivors include a son, William Orth, Lafayette; a sister, Dottie McCallie, Seminole, Fla., two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale with Bro. Don Loftis officiating. Burial will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
