Ada Manlove, age 89, a 13 year resident of Montebello Nursing Home, Hamilton, Ill, formerly of rural Plymouth, died at 9:05 a.m. Monday, November 30, 1987 at Montbello.

She was born June 10, 1898, in Carthage, the daughter of Charles and Ellen Wilson Barberie. She married Thomas Manlove, September 27, 1917 in Quincy. He died Feb 4, 1971.

She attended Carthage High School, was a past member of the Plymouth Methodist Church and formerly an active member in the Women's Fellowship Clubs and church activities.

Surviving is a brother, Orville Barberie of Montebello Manor, 2 sisters, Mrs Elta Barberie of Macomb, Mrs Lydia Reese, Arlington Heights, Ill, 4 nieces, 2 nephews.

Preceding her in death are 2 brothers, Virgil and Charles Barberie.

Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home, Plymouth, Rev Arnold DeZutter officiating. Burial was in Round Prairie Cemetery.
