Lola Webber Arthur, 91, of Coffey Road, died Wednesday, July 24, 1991, at the Medical Care Center. She was the widow of Allie Van Arthur. Mrs. Arthur was born April 24, 1900 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late John Thomas Webber and Prudence Ruth Millner Webber. She was retired from Bedford County schools, having worked in the Boonsboro cafeteria. She was a member of Boonsboro United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Society. She is survived by a son, Wayne Gray Arthur of Lynchburg; a granddaughter, Anita Arthur -grandson, William Michael Yarborough. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Boonsboro United Methodist Church by the Rev. Frank Layne. Interment will be in Trinity Episcopal Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Diuguid Rivermont Chapel and other times at the residence.
